U2 BIOS

Adam Clayton -- Born in Chinnor,
Oxfordshire, England on March 13, 1960, Adam Clayton went from trying
to live on the fringes of society to basking in the glow of its
spotlight...
Bono
-- On May 10, 1960, little did Iris Hewson know that she'd given
birth to a rock superstar. From the moment he was born, after bawling
his brains out then and for weeks to come, Paul Hewson has never
stopped craving attention from his adoring fans...
Edge
-- ...After he and his brother Dik responded to a note posted by
schoolmate Larry Mullen, Dave would soon find himself on a wild
transformation from ordinary Dave Evans, amateur guitarist, to more-than-extraordinary
The Edge, established musician responsible for leaving us numb with
his definitive style of guitar playing...
Larry
Mullen, Jr. -- Larry...first became interested in music
by following the influence of his sister who played the piano...This,
however, did not work out for the aspiring young musician, and just
as he was ready to abandon his musical career altogether, Larry
found his calling: drums...
The
Beginnings of U2 -- The glitz, the glamour, the music and
the mania, the attitude and agenda to save the world - it all began
with a note pinned to Mount Temple's school noticeboard, relating
'money wasted on a drum kit' and inquiring whether there were others
out there who'd done the same on guitars. With that, Larry Mullen
Jr. had intended to form a rock band, but what he did indeed initiate
was an international phenomenon and a rock 'n' roll revolution...

Note from Molee: I'm not the sentimental eejit
that my writing makes me out to be. A lot of those sentiments came
from the book that we based most of the bios on. Much of the info
came from Eamon Dunphy's Unforgettable Fire, which U2 has
voiced their disappointment over. But we had no other - or rather
more reliable - sources, so... you take what you can get, right??
